Oh man, I saw this years ago when I first started browsing /tg/ and I hadn't seen it since. I wished that I'd screens hotted it then. I'm so glad to see it again.

How does this work exactly?
It says to use a d6 but alot of these seem like they would need more than that.

I think you're supposed to roll whatever you want with a d6, and roll the race with an online 1d165.

From the artist:
"The most famous sea monk supposedly washed ashore in Denmark in 1546 and became famous all over Europe. The bottom drawing is based on depictions of that particular sea monk. The top drawing is based on monks' own depictions of the creatures.

Sea monks tended to either be peaceful or, oddly, act like mermaids rather than mermen. You see, the mean spirited kind lured people into the sea and ate them, just like mermaids. (Mermen rarely did anything besides getting caught and predicting the future)"

From the artist:
"Her position of authority, her deep cultural heritage, the pressures of the enormous responsibility given to her, her limited magic powers that enable her to walk across quicksand supposedly, and the threat of her causing the apocalypse if she cries distancing her from other people.
In my mind said traits painted a picture of someone very strong willed, spoiled, and distant. A sorceress who is tough to crack with some sort of connection to forbidden magic."
